Welcome to Djoorn! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Djoorn health journal application, website, and services (collectively, the "Service") operated by Djoorn ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you disagree with any part of the Terms, you may not access the Service.

Description of Service

Djoorn is a personal health journal application that allows you to:

The Service is provided "as is" and is intended for personal, non-commercial use only.

User Accounts

Account Creation

To use the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account

Eligibility

Free Trial and Subscriptions

Free Trial

We offer a 14-day free trial for new users. The trial includes access to all features of the Service. At the end of the trial period, you may choose to subscribe or continue with limited features.

Subscription Plans

Automatic renewal unless you cancel before the renewal date

Cancellation

Refunds

User Content

Your Content

You retain all rights to the content you submit to the Service, including health data, photos, and notes ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process your content solely to provide and improve the Service.

Content Standards

You agree not to submit User Content that:

Infringes on intellectual property rights
Contains malware or harmful code
Is false, misleading, or deceptive

Content Removal

We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable, at our sole discretion.

Acceptable Use

AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to analyze food photos and provide recommendations. AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or errors. You acknowledge that:

AI analysis is approximate and may not be completely accurate
Nutritional information should be verified independently
We are not responsible for decisions made based on AI recommendations
AI features are provided for convenience and educational purposes

Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding User Content), features, and functionality are owned by Djoorn and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Service without our explicit written permission.

Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party services, including:

Google OAuth for authentication
Google Gemini AI for food analysis
API Ninjas for nutrition data
Dodo Payments for payment processing

Your use of these third-party services is subject to their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party services.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DJOORN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately, and we may delete your User Content.
